Currently, our manufacturing facility is located in MIDC Sinnar, with a total area of 19556 sq. m, comprising a build-up area of 8236.58 sq. m. The total capacity of the facility is to manufacture 2.5 million VRLA batteries per annum.

Energon has set up a world class integrated manufacturing facility, which is in line with the global standards. All the critical manufacturing processes are done in-house for enhanced product consistency. The following operations are done in-house at Energon works:

  • Fully automatic oxide mill to manufacture lead oxide with required morphology
  • Gravity grid casting for ensuring longer life of the grid
  • PLC controlled paste mixer for achieving precise paste density
  • High consistent weight and thickness controlled pasting machine
  • PLC controlled curing chamber
  • Tank formation with tackles technology
  • Computer controlled green plate battery formation with chiller facilities
  • Plate parting with auto buffing facility
  • Fully automatic battery assembly line
  • Computer controlled battery charging facilities
  • Full-fledged electrical testing laboratory for testing batteries as per International, National standards
